When Was The Wheel Invented

                                     

It is not known exactly when the wheel was invented. The sumerians used wheels about 5000 years ago in Mesopotamia.they first use it as a potter's wheel and few centuries later as a wheel on carts.

                        

In their excavation in northern and western Europe Archeologists have found remains of discs from the stone age.

The wheels of sumerians were wooden disc which were fixed on an axis with spikes.the first wheel with spoke also originated in Mesopotamia.

Around 2000 BC sumerians built these lighter wheels for their war chariots as did the Egyptians around 1600BC.  

Organic Plastic : The New Hope For Environment

                                                            

The term 'organic plastic' implies those substances that naturally decay through bacterial action or get dissolved with ground water in some way or other.

The conventional plastics made from the crude oil which do not decay but the new type of plastic that are made from the starch of potatoes, cereals, or maize are biodegradable.

However, the production of biodegradable plastic is still a very cumbersome and expensive process. scientists are therefore working on new smarter ways of manufacturing environment friendly plastic.

The latest product is a bio-plastic  by the name of  polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB). It is produced by bacteria fed with glucose or sugar.The plastic is manufactured from the small pads, which bacteria use to absorb food.
